Verizon CEO Lowell MacAdam took the stage in New York City to announce that in early February, customers will be able to purchase iPhone 4 devices compatible with Verizon's CDMA network. That's right: the Verion iPhone 4 is a reality.
"If the press write something long enough, eventually it comes true," MacAdam joked during the press conference.
Customers can snag a 16GB Verizon iPhone for $199, according to Verizon's preorder page. "[The Verizon iPhone 4] will be available on February 10. If you are a Verizon Wireless customer, you can reserve now," reports Gizmodo. Pre-orders will start on February 3.
